Prep time: 10-15 minutes

Cook time: 3 if using cooked shrimp, 5 if using un-cooked shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of shrimp (I prefer raw de-veined shrimp so I'm in control)

  • 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning (mines home made ill post the recipe below)

  • 1 tsp of avocado oil

  • 1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley (optional)

  • 1 clementine, zested (or lemon, I'm not a fan of lemons harshness)

Home Made Cajun Seasoning:

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp of garlic powder

  • 2.5 tsp of paprika

  • 1 tsp of ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp of onion powder

  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp of dried oregano

  • 1 tsp of dried thyme

In a large mixing bowl place your shrimp, coat them in oil, zest and your spice(s). Make sure to really incorporate it into the shrimp, then set it aside to rest for a few minutes.

Place a large skillet over medium high heat.

Add your shrimp to your skillet for a couple minutes, then toss them around to cook evenly.

Tip: If you use a cover on your skillet, your shrimp will be more succulent.

Once cooked garnish your shrimp with fresh parsley.

Enjoy!
