Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:

1lb of peeled raw shrimp (leave the tails on, for flavor)
12oz of beer or white cooking wine (I prefer budweiser)
2 packets of Sazon Goya Con Azafran
1 whole diced sweet or yellow onion
3-4 minced cloves of garlic
3-4 tbsp of fresh parsley
1/2 tea spoon of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 stick of butter
1 tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
In a pot add your olive oil and diced onion, just before the onion is translucent add in your garlic. Once the onion is translucent and the garlic becomes fragrant, add in your choice of liquid. Bring this mixture to a simmer, then add in the sazon and crushed pepper.
Taste this mixture, then salt and pepper accordingly.
Add in your shrimp, leave to cook until they've turned pink (approximately 5 minutes.) Move your pot off of the burner or turn the burner off, then add in your butter and fresh parsley.
Serve alone or over a starch of your choice!
