Prep time: 10-15 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 large tilapia filets

  • 12oz of beer or white cooking wine (I prefer budweiser)

  • 2 packets of Sazon Goya Con Azafran

  • 1 whole diced sweet or yellow onion

  • 3-4 minced cloves of garlic

  • 3-4 tbsp of fresh parsley

  • 1/2 tea spoon of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/4 stick of butter

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

In a pot add your olive oil and diced onion, just before the onion is translucent add in your garlic. Once the onion is translucent and the garlic becomes fragrant, add in your choice of liquid. Bring this mixture to a simmer, then add in the sazon, butter, and crushed pepper.

Taste this mixture, then salt and pepper accordingly.

Place your tilapia filets in a heat safe dish, pour the mozambique mixture over the filets. Then place the dish into the oven until the tilapia becomes opaque (approximately 12-15 minutes.) Remove your dish from the oven and add your fresh parsley.

Serve alone or with a starch of your choice!
