It Works Cleanse Review

I want to start off by saying I am not an It Works representative.

"Cleanse is a gentle two-day herbal cleanse that helps your body reset and re-balance itself so you can feel and look your best! I was scrolling through facebook and happen to come across this product that sparked my interest. For those of you who know me, I avidly go to the gym and recently hit a plateau with my gut. I decided to give Cleanse a try to see if it would jump start my "weight loss."
I say "weight loss" because I am not one to check my weight, in my work out routines I do lift weights, so I have learned that keeping track of weight can often be discouraging (as you're not sure which pound is fat and which pound is muscle.) Instead I measure my bust, waist, hips, butt, thighs, and arms weekly (I see the numbers changing in the direction I want this way.) So for you guys I have borrowed my mother's scale and recorded both my weight and my measurements.
I'm going on this journey with an open mind, because I've read mixed reviews (which is why I wanted to blog my journey specifically.) So along with my weight and measurements, I will be walking you through my 2 day Cleanse step by step.
Day One:
I woke up and drank 8oz of water along with 8oz of Blueberry Slim Fit Tea by Yogi.
I head off to the gym to do my HIIT cardio, back, and bicep routine (yes on an empty stomach, you burn more calories working out after you wake up. Technically your body has fasted for 8 hours, this helps to deliver large amounts of oxygen to your muscles and potentially burn more fat. However, I only do this once or twice a week (HIIT days), as breakfast is an essential meal.)
After my work out I've drank a total of 33 oz of water.
I came home and my package was delivered, not having eaten yet, I realized I could start the cleanse today (Cleanse is suppose to be taken once in the morning before consuming a meal, and once more in the evening before dinner.) The taste of cleanse in all honesty reminds me of a spicy citrus barbecue sauce (no joke), but I enjoyed it in a weird way.

In between lunch and dinner I had two red bell peppers, cut into slices, and two table spoons of Mediterranean hummus.
10 minutes before dinner I took the second cleanse bottle. Then for dinner I had a tomato wrap filled with portabello mushrooms, pine nuts, arugula, and dried tomatoes.
At this point I've drank 67 oz of water
Review of day one: I noticed nothing out of the normal in my day, absolutely no side effects.
Day Two:
I woke up and drank 8oz of water along with 8oz of Blueberry Slim Fit Tea by Yogi.
I drank cleanse bottle number three 20 minutes before my breakfast. My breakfast was a strawberry, blueberry, vanilla protein, coconut & almond milk shake from Cycology Cafe (https://www.cycologystudioinc.com/), which is 100% organic and plant based.
About two and a half hours later I had a cup of clear broth clam chowder for a "snack".
At this point I've drank 33 oz of water.
Three hours after the chowder, I had my lunch which was a grilled shrimp salad that also consisted of lettuce, herb goat cheese, red bell pepper, red pepper flakes, and walnuts.
I went to the gym an hour and a half before dinner, strictly did chest and triceps.
10 minutes before dinner I drank the last cleanse bottle. My dinner was an herbalife shake made with two scoops of formula one, a scoop of chunky peanut butter, a cup if almond milk, 1 tsp of sugar free fat free cheese cake pudding, 1 tsp of sugar free fat free chocolate pudding, 1 tsp of sugar free fat free caramel pudding.
At this point I've drank 67oz of water
Weigh in:
Day one at 12pm I weighed myself in at 153.0 lbs
Day two at 12pm I weighed myself in at 150.5 lbs
Day three (result day) at 12pm I weighed myself in at 148.0

Under bust: 32''
Waist: 30.5''
Hips: 36''
Butt: 40.5''
Thigh: 24''

So half way through the second day I lost 2.5 lbs, and a half inch off of my waist only.

Over all results:
So overall I have lost 5 lbs even, .5'' around my waist, 1'' of my under bust, .5'' of my hips.
In my photos I do notice a slight difference in my gut (which is my problem area.) Measurements wise, this is great for just a three day period. I honestly would try this product again, so I'm excited for my next delivery (I signed up for the auto shipment for three months deal, as it was cheaper, and you can switch the products monthly if you disliked your first choice.)
