Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 3-5 minutes
Ingredients:
Bunch of asparagus (15-25 depending on size)
Large zip lock bag
11/2 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
1/4 tsp of paprika
1 tbsp of sunflower seed or olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat a grill pan to medium high and pour in half of the oil.
Cut the dry bases off the asparagus or size the asparagus to the zip lock bag. Place the asparagus in the bag, then drizzle the oil. Add in the garlic, onion, paprika, salt and pepper. Then gently massage the seasonings into the asparagus, then remove the asparagus and set onto the grill pan. Once the asparagus has grill marks, roll it over to the other side (this can take anywhere from a minute to three depending on the size of your asparagus.)
Note: If you do not have a grill pan and have an actual grill, just line the base of the grill with aluminum foil and keep it on low to medium heat. Roll out your asparagus, and after a minute or two check to see if they're chard. Once chard, rotate them!
